A new patch has been deployed. This round of development has focused on fixing critical/urgent bugs. Thanks for bearing with me, this patch took longer than I hope to release and I know people have been affected by these bugs
Server Changes
* Houses can no longer be placed within ~2 screens at the entrnaces of: despise, covetous, destard, hythloth, ice, shame, delucia passage, minoc passage. Marble island was left as the passage east is long enough for people to mark runes down there.
* Existing houses at these locations will need to be moved. The below players have 72 hours to relocate their houses. If you do not I will choose a new location for you

* Increase 105 and marti drop rates
* The HP of Champions has been doubled
* Remove noob tier helper items
* Shroud of shadows drop chance reduce to 0.05% chance
Developer note: It means the crystals and other rewards should spawn more often
* The graphic of AusteniteCrystals has been changed to support earlier client versions.
Developer note: If you are using a client older than 7_00_35_00 I would recommend ensuring you can actually see the crystals ingame
* Medium tier monsters drop 5 items instead of 6 and no longer specialise in loot
* Spectral elementals have been slightly reduced in strength: notably wrestling 120 -> 105 and less powerful spells.
* Reds can now purchase from all vendors
* Insurance has been changed for blues in PvP only. Blues are now subject to increased insurance costs:
-> 4 counts = 600gp per item
-> 3 counts = 500gp per item
-> 2 counts = 400gp per item
-> 0-1 counts = 300gp per item (as previously)
-> PvM = 600gp per item (as previously)
* Insurance has been changed for reds in both PvP and PvM. The price applies per item:
-> 5 - 11 counts = 900gp per item
-> 11 - 20 counts = 1000gp per item
-> 21++ counts = 1100gp per item
When reported for a murder if the insurance cost will change, you will receive a special message from the bank of Britannia informing you of the increase.
Developer note: I did not want a change that forces red upon people. My hope is that by raising the blue PvP cost and lowering the overall cost to be red, with less of a difference between the two, blues who want PvP will naturally go red.
* Due to the large number of Bag of Sendings in the world, they have been changed as follows:
-> Each bag itself (not character) has a 2 hour cooldown
-> A bag can have a maximum of 3 charges and be recharged for 30 more uses, down from 30 and 255 uses
-> The avaialable amount of rechargable uses is now shown in the name
-> A one time refund for bags with more than 3 charges has been granted. The powder will appear in the same container as the bag
-> The solen quest distributing bags now grants 1-3 charges initially, down from 6-9
-> The solen quest giving powder now gives 5-6, down from 10-12.
* The weight of gold has been increased: 25k now weighs ~250 stones, previously 25k weighed ~166 stones
Developer note: Bag of sending is a strong utility item that I want to have a limited life. In their previous state combined with light weight gold, that utility could basically be repeatedly tapped and recharged for a low cost.
* Undead slayer now has a 10% chance to roll as undead, like all other super slayers. As it has no child slayers, when the roll fails, the entire slayer is rerolled
* Number of players online has been removed from login information
* Necro familiars no longer stam block
* Necro familiars are undispelable
* Revenant no longer stam blocks
* Evil omen now breaks paralyze
* ShadowWhisp and HordeMinion necro familiars should no longer be attackable
Developer note: There is a deeper issue causing the other familiars to still be attacked. Large parts of the AI are old RunUO will require deeper attention to fix
* Player summons have the notoriety of their master=
* Ore elementals drop 20 ore
* Vendors stock 999 boards
* Removed stealth and stealing as potential property from jewellery
* Controlled tamer pets cast slower
* A chivalry trainer and ankh has now been added to bucs
* Players can use +skill jewellery to meet the minimum taming skill requirement for STARTING the bond timer and ENDING it. You must have the minimum taming skill for for both parts.
* Fix LordOaks champion spawn missing Kirins + Unicorns and slow respawn time on levels 2 and 3. Apologies if someone tried the spawn, you would have struggled to progress it due to this bug.
* Fix Harrower tentacle, semidar, succubus, now correctly leech life from players
* Fix firesteed dropping too many rubys
* Fix insurance bugs that sometimes players would not be awarded for the kill
* Fix boats could speed hack when spamming tiller commands
* Fix reveal spell always working, even in trammel and fix missing difficulty check vs stealth/hiding
* Fix stack of "tainted wool" becoming 1 yarn
* Fix being able to dismount whilst mounted
* Fix champions sometimes going inactive straight after starting them
* Fix arctic ogre lord spawner range too far
* Fix players sometimes frozen by remove Resync() time limit
* Internal server fixes
Client/Razor Changes
I reccommend everyone re-run the launcher to get latest changes
* Double clicking ingame text of anything except the players own spell text will now register as a double click
* Fix an intermittent client crash some players could experience
* Internal fixes for the razor Auto-bandage and make it safer. A log file will be created in the event of failure to help with diagnosis
Killing people in Luna
Note the rule change that it is now forbidden. I like players to be greeted by a bustling city when logging in for the first time or returning from AFK.
Loot Buff
A loot buff is not currently planned, however I am considering one for the upcoming release of barbed kits and valorite runics.
Pre-Launch Focus Group disbanded
Before going live a small focus group of AOS era players assisted with testing and providing fast early feedback. These guys were HUGELY helpful in getting the shard to a launchable state. Thank you for all the help.
Now that the shard has launched, this focus group has been disbanded. In the future if I utilise focus groups it will be publicly advertised.
